Copper Ore: Y 8–80 (most around Y 48). Needs Stone Pickaxe or Copper Pickaxe, or better. Ore heights & mining table
Can also appear in structure chests: Desert Pyramid · Ocean Ruin · Mineshaft
Uses & recipes#
Seasonal mining allows exposed ore and permitted natural logs. Grass, pebbles and twigs inside portal protection are additional starter resources, regrowing after a default 3 minutes. Natural stone and soil cannot be tunnelled through.
