Pig
A passive wandering animal with no item drop in the wilds. Caged with a lead and let out on your ranch, a fed pig gives bone meal, slaughtering one gives porkchops, and a saddle makes a grown one your mount.

Season levels and rewards#
Passive animals award no season XP; ranching or slaughtering them cannot level your seasonal character.

Surface biomes: Plains · Sunflower Plains · Meadow · Cherry Grove · Forest · Flower Forest · Birch Forest · Old Growth Birch Forest · Dark Forest · Taiga · Old Growth Taiga · Savanna · Jungle · Sparse Jungle · Bamboo Jungle
Spawning, light and season monsters — light, protection, player distance and population can still prevent a spawn.
Behaviour & abilities#
- Passive movement; flees when attacked. No special damaging ability is configured.
Drops#
This form has no ordinary item drops.
These are unscaled base rolls. A quantity of zero yields nothing. Elite/area modifiers, bag space and applicable material limits affect the result; a kill is not a guaranteed drop.
Strategy#
Wild pigs are not a pork source; pork comes from your ranch.
City siege vs wilderness#
Not in the current city siege spawn pool; this entry describes the preview wilderness rules.
